Muzikale biografie:

 

Ik werd geboren op 07/07. Op 7-jarige leeftijd volgde ik piano lessen aan de muziekschool in ekeren (tot mijn 17 de) en op 8-jarige leeftijd stond ik al in de opnamestudio voor de opname van een liedje via de muziekschool voor het ballet van Vlaanderen. Ook stond ik voor het eerst op een podium met verschillende playback en soundmix-shows. Op mijn 16de startte ik in een groepje Base-X, hetgeen niet lang standhield.

Op 18 jarige leeftijd sprong ik mee in de groep monotone waar ik de single (remix) van monotone vs la-work imagination mocht inzingen. Nadien ging ik solo verder waardoor ik op verschillende plaatsten in Vlaanderen, Nederland en Duitsland kwam. Ik werkte ook als professioneel model, voor o.a. Marc van Loock. In 2005 werd ik 4de in de zangwedstrijd “Stars on stage”, georganiseerd door Amurec. In 2007 vervolledigde ik de groep schlagershowband die ook onder de naam “The Quality sound” optreedt... Met hen werd de single rozen voor sandra opgenomen waar ik mee de backings mocht verzorgen.

In 2009 nam ik deel aan het tv-programma x-factor waar ik in ben mogen blijven tot de laatste 6 groepen (net voor de lives eruit).

In 2010 nam mijn leven een nieuwe wending waardoor ik koos om opnieuw de uitdaging aan te gaan om "op mezelf" te gaan zingen, en een eigen band te starten, the Iris L'Or band.

2012 werd een revelatie bij het vervolledigen van de band Hard Candy, die de perfecte combo tussen ruig en pop weten te combineren...En zoals een goede artieste betaamt...wil ik altijd iets meer uit mijn muziek halen, waardoor ik besloot het rockabilly gehalte boven te halen in mij en de nieuwe uitdaging aan te gaan met Pink Cadillac in 2013...in 2014 begon ik een feller rockproject "the Nipples" met oa marc Rosso en Rik Aerts.

 

 

 

 

Musical Biography: I was born on 7 July . At the age of 7, I attended piano lessons at the music school of Ekeren. I did this until I was 17. When I was 8 years old, I was already in the recording studio for the recordings of a song.

I got that chance through the music school, for the Ballet of Flanders. Also, in that period, I had my first stage experiences by doing different playback and soundmix shows. At the age of 16, I started a band called Base-X, which didn't last long.

When I turned 18, I grabbed my chance to sing in a band called Monotone, where I sang the lead vocals of their single (remix) "Imagination", under the project name "Monotone vs LA-Work". After that, I started my solo career.

Because of that, I had the chance to sing in different countries, like Flanders, The Netherlands and Germany.

I also worked as a professional model. I worked for people like Marc van Loock.

In 2005, I took 4th place in the singing contest "Stars On Stage", organised by Amurec. In 2007, I completed the band "Schlagershowband", that also performs under the name "The Quality Sound"......

Together with them, we recorded the single "Rozen voor Sandra" (= Roses for Sandra), where I did the backing vocals.

In 2009, I participated in the TV show "X-Factor", where I was able to stay until the final 6 groups (just before the live shows, I went out).

Finally, in 2010, my life took a new swing and because of that I chose to accept new challenges. Those are going solo again, and starting my own band The Iris L'Or band.

2012 became ame a revelation by completing the band Hard Candy, which is the perfect combo between roughness and pop. Like a good artist should i also wanted to explore my rockabilly side...and became a member of Pink Cadillac in 2013...in 2014 i started a somewhat harder genre of rock band "the Niplles" with Marc Rosso and Rik Aerts.
